INVICTA

Heroes are leaders - people who take action, inspire a team or solve a problem that others could not.

American Heroes Challenge tells true stories real about leaders and heroes. Our goal is to inspire young Americans to become leaders themselves.

We don't tell just war stories. Over time, we will make more interactive missions about mental, moral and physical leaders - from civil rights leaders to entrepreneurs to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

The common theme? These are stories about the women and men who made America the greatest country in history.

By walking in the footsteps of real leaders, you will practice making hard leadership decisions. Our key to making good decisions is the INVICTA Code.

“Invicta” is Latin for “the unconquered” - a good word to describe the heroes and leaders whose stories we tell.

TO ACT HONESTLY AND TO BE WORTHY OF TRUST.

TO PUT OTHERS BEFORE YOURSELF AND TO REMEMBER THAT IT'S ABOUT THE TEAM'S NEEDS - NOT YOUR OWN.

TO SHOW COURAGE, OR THE ABILITY TO CONTROL FEAR, WHETHER YOU ARE IN PHYSICAL DANGER OR SIMPLY AFRAID OF WHAT OTHERS WILL THINK OF YOU.

TO TAKE ACTION DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES AND TO DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE WITHOUT BEING ASKED.

TO THINK, ASK QUESTIONS AND LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY IN ORDER TO LEARN SOMETHING.

TO KEEP GOING AND NEVER QUIT - EVEN IN THE FACE OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE ODDS.

TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS.
