Gordon Craig earned the Medal of Honor posthumously on this day in 1950. A son of Brockton, Massachusetts, Craig was part of the 1^st Cavalry Divisions reconnaissance company when he threw himself on a North Korean grenade to save the lives of his fellow soldiers. Honor and remember him!
