Laverne Parrish, a medic with the 25th Infantry Division, earned the Medal of Honor posthumously for exposing himself to Japanese fire to rescue seven wounded soldiers during the liberation of Luzon. 

From Ronan, Montana, Parrish is buried in his hometown. Please honor and remember him!
