March 13 Morris Crain Medal of Honor

Morris Crain earned the Medal of Honor posthumously for his heroic leadership in Hagenau, France, when he led his platoon in clearing houses of German troops, and then covered their withdrawal when they were attacked by a German tank. Honor and remember him!

Part of the 36th Infantry Division, Crain was only 20 years old when he was killed in action. From Kentucky, he is buried in his home state at Mount Pleasant Church.
