James Logan, an Army Sergeant, earned the Medal of Honor for single-handedly capturing a German machine gun team in Italy.

He survived the War, earning the Distinguished Service Cross, the Bronze Sat and the Purple Heart during his service. He passed away in 1999 in is buried in the Texas State Cemetery in Austin. Read his Medal of Honor citation to honor and remember him.
